Health care innovation has helped prevent premature death, lessen disability, and eradicate some diseases entirely. Yet, innovation remains underprioritized, and almost two million people die of avoidable diseases annually. Cross-sectoral collaboration and funding for health care innovation can unlock significant social, economic, and health benefits across societies.
